Maintenance mechanical supervisor/ foreman. - Mumbai

Responsible for: Supervision, Training and Manpower handling, Job allocation, Procurement of Workshop Business.

-To Manage Workshop operations which involves Maintenance of Mechanical Pumps, various Equipment and accessories.
-Directing, leading and motivating workforce; imparting continuous on job training for accomplishing.
-Resolving interpersonal issues & working towards a harmonious work environment.
-Allocating Technicians, Mechanics and Trainees to their jobs based on high priority jobs basis.
-Preparation of Purchase Requisitions with detailed specification, based on MOC, scope of work.
-On placement of Purchase Order, follow up with vendor on schedule.
-Familiarization of job scope by consulting with Engineering Section, Project Development Section & Originator.
-Participate in Department Manager`s meetings as scheduled or required.
-Coordination with Maintenance and Planning for field work schedule and spare parts.
-Follow up the Start-up / Shutdown and Commissioning of a new equipment or system as required.

•Hands-on maintenance experience on different types of Rotary equipments such as Centrifugal Pumps, Gear Pumps, Screw Compressors, Steam Turbine, Fans, Blowers, Gearboxes, Agitators, Pestilators, Flakers, Conveyors (Screw, Belt, Roller) and DG. High Pressure (Positive displacement) Pumps.
•Experience in Alignment of different equipments Such as Pumps, Gearboxes, Blowers, Leveling of Vessels and Tanks.
•Experience in Maintenance and Overhauling of Utilities such as Air Compressors (reciprocating), Cooling towers, D.M. Water Plant, E.T.P. and Boiler.
•Experience in Maintenance of Stationary Equipments such as Valves, Strainers, Filters.
•Experience in Maintenance of Static Equipments such as Vessels, Columns, Reactors, Switch Condenser, Heat Exchangers, and Thermal Fluid Heater.
•Experience in Installing Mechanical Seals, and Handling of O-rings, Gaskets, Shaft Seals (Labyrinth).
•Used to Work on height to attain Gasket leak on pipe racks.
•Hands-on experience in tool room activities and Hydraulics.
•Offer extensive Maintenance Experience in all Plant activities like Shutdowns, Breakdowns, Preventive, Planned and Routine in all shifts.
