Our Client is World’s largest, multi-carrier network for the Ocean Shipping Industry. They are currently hiring for the Inside Sales Representative position in India; MUMBAI with great salary package. This person must have experience in Shipping line or E-commerce.

Job Summary:

Inside Sales Representatives are responsible for supporting sales managers in building stronger customer and carrier relationships. The individual’s primary goal is to increase revenue from customer and carrier relationships. The individual’s primary goal is to increase revenue from customers by getting the customers to use more products (Product penetration) and/or use more carriers (Carrier Penetration)

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Actively sell and promote INTTRA products to maximize revenue from customers and carriers of assigned territory jointly with Sales Directors / Managers

- Provide sales support to build stronger customer relationships and customers’ confidence in using company’s network

- Monitor customer volumes and actively arrange to have issues attended / resolved by customer service personnel, support and address problems to ensure business is retained

- Ensure all customers are connected with as many carriers of their choice as possible

- Generally responsible for all follow ups from getting carrier(s) to approve the connection via the company’s portal until the customer starts sending transactions through system

- Monitor customer’s interest in company’s current member carriers

- Monitor newly registered customers to ensure they get started with the Company

- Assist Sales to penetrate existing customers, monitor the setup of office, users, etc

- Active engagement with customers through tele-sales, email-campaigns, and occasionally meetings and trainings

- Provide market feedback on product improvements to the Product Management team

- Prepare sales reports

- Travelling might be required

Job Specifications:

- A degree / Diploma is a must

- Min 2-3 years of experience in an international Shipping / Frieght forwarding / Transportation company

- Fluent in English

- Excellent communication skills both spoken and written

- Excellent Presentation Skills

- Analytical, able to work independently

- Problem solving skills
