Compressor processed seals are engineered to seal the rotating assemblies within the stationary compressor cases so on to prevent the processing gas within the compressor from entering in to the atmosphere and there by preventing the atmosphere from entering in to the processing gas. Some of these compressor seals may have more than one stages of seals and some times different types of sealing components, such as bushing seals and contacting faces, or floating faces and lift off seals.
