Calcium nitrate is 100 % water soluble complex fertiliser consisting of 15.5 % nitrogen (N) in readily available form and 18.5 % calcium (Ca). Calcium is one of the secondary nutrients important for crop production and has role in improving colour, lustre and quality of fruits; soil structure and water infiltration in soil and protection against pests and diseases.
calcium nitrates provide fast-acting nitrate-N, alongside strength-building calcium. In combination, these nutrients fuel prolonged growth. Plants and trees treated, fertilizers are naturally healthier and less sensitive to stress during growth. Then, critically, in the build-up to harvest, calcium nitrate fertilizers improve the size, strength and appearance of the fruit, tuber, leaf or lettuce.
1. Calcium Nitrate (ca 18.80 n 15.50) is water soluble fertilizer which is in granular from it contains high quality macro and essential nutrients and chloride free ingredients this can be applied to the crop by fustigation or through foliar spraying
